The project will repave the aircraft parking ramp from the commercial terminal through the transient ramp and stop at the B hangars. The project will also add new tiedowns adjacent to the C hangars and pave a taxilane next to the F hangars to provide access to four new corporate hangars. The estimated cost of this project is $1.5 million with the FAA funding 95%, GA-DOT 2.5% and the airport 2.5%.

The Athens Flight Center Welcomes Conoco/Phillips - The airport has just issued a new fuel services contract to Conoco/Phillips. Soon the AFC will be notifying every one of the change over date and procedures to receive a new fuel card. Phillips 66 has an excellent aviation services department and we look forward to working with them and making this transition as smooth as possible for our customers.
